How to Apply to the MA Program

PhD Programs
The Center itself does not offer a Ph.D program in Southeast Asian studies. Students can focus doctoral studies on Southeast Asia from within other departments, such as history, anthropology, political science, etc. Doctoral students in any department are eligible to apply for the Foreign Language and Area Studies fellowships which are awarded through the center.

The center is committed to promoting a broader and deeper understanding of Southeast Asia and its peoples, cultures, and historiesby providing resources for faculty, students and the community to learn and disseminate knowledge about the region.
